Enable Aero Desktop Experience in Windows Server
Past default, Aero mode is not available in Windows Server 2008 R2. To enable the Aero desktop experience in Windows Server you will need to install the Desktop Feel characteristic.
After installing the Desktop Experience feature, y'all volition have to enable the Themes service and and then select an Aero theme. You might also need to update your video card driver, to run Aero. Enable Aero Desktop Experience in Windows Server

- Click Start > Control Console > Programs & Features > Turn Windows Features on or off.

- Select the Desktop Feel checkbox. If you are prompted to install additional features, click Add together Required Features, and and so click Adjacent.
